Josh Pastner absolutely has to love at least having Usher back and with the potential for Alvarado, Devoe, and Wright to all return, the 2021-2022 season could end being an exciting one to say the least for the program with the sky as the potential limit. The former USC Trojan saw an uptick in his game this past season that paid huge dividends for both him and the Yellow Jackets as a whole who averaged 74.9 points per game offensively this season. Usher returning is a huge win for the program off and on the court as he should once again be a top scoring option for the Yellow Jackets next season. He also averaged 4.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Usher this past season for the Jackets played in all 26 games for the Yellow Jackets and averaged for the Yellow Jackets and averaged 11.6 points per contest while shooting 50% from the field including 61.4% from inside the perimeter. Junior guard Michael Devoe has declared for the NBA Draft but is keeping his eligibility as he awaits to see how he is graded by NBA scouts.
